What it is

Employers can register to access the TADE toolbox, which includes:

  • Speed Connect: Looking for skilled tech talent? Small and medium Alberta businesses are invited to join us for TADE Speed Connect, a free virtual employment event, and connect with skilled digital job seekers. (Events were held October 28 and December 8, 2021).
  • Candidate Assessment Tool: Sign up for access to eSkill, a talent assessment platform that offers web-based tests to help employers assess the skills of job applicants. Select from over 850 skills or job-based assessments employers can send to candidates. Click here for the TADE eSkill Quick Start Guide to get started.
  • EDI Microlearning Videos

    Join dynamic speaker Tina Varughese, cross-cultural communication and diversity expert, for a series of microlearning videos designed to help employers foster a psychologically safe environment where all employees are included and feel encouraged to contribute:

  • Learn about unconscious bias and how to make sure it is not clouding your company’s hiring decisions in "Unconscious Bias in the Hiring Process" with Shelly Elsliger, career, workplace success and inclusion coach.
  • Presented by Chic Geek in partnership with TADE, view the How to Craft a DEI Policy that Works for You forum to hear from panelists with extensive backgrounds in developing, crafting and nurturing some of Canada’s most successful and tangible DEI policy work for startups, scaleups, and organizations in the public and private sector.
  • EDI Tool: Gauge your organization's place on ICTC's Equity Diversity and Inclusion Spectrum by completing our assessment. Get a Summary Report that describes your current stage and identifies Next Steps – the actions needed to move your organization to the next Stage on the spectrum.

The program helps companies pivot to the digital economy by providing meaningful tools and resources. Employers will gain access to essential tools that:

  • Develop and implement HR plans to prepare for immediate and future digital skills
  • Recruit and leverage digital talent
  • Build a resilient, agile, and diverse workforce
  • Foster a healthy and responsive work environment
